“It is so valuable to hear, it affects vets in every stage of life or place in their professional development. Good to be reminded of how much effort and work and commitment it takes to be the best vet we can be. It is also good to know that there is value in standing back sometimes and to remined ourselves that we all have immense value, even if we are not perfect. This is a vocation, a calling a sacrificial choice to serve. It is appropriate to hug ourselves sometimes and know that we are all special human beings, and it is okay to be kind, not only to our clients and patients but also ourselves.”
