A Pet Poisoning - 'Get on the Case' is a very well presented and a superb webinar about poisons and toxins. It also presents a report study or a case - based approach to the management of toxin poisoning cases. What was the most interesting is the phenomena of the number of toxins in our environment. Poisoning cases need prompt treatment, a treatment which is quick and if posiible without any delay. The advice about separation of a pet from any further ingestion or exposure to toxins was also mentioned. There were quite a few very reliable and practical instructions who should be contacted in case of pet poisoning. The first case on poisoning, just to remember to remove patient from poison or poison itself from a patient, was about Olive, a Golden Retriever who visited a vet after having a few problems because of eating unknown quantity of grapes. Also some other cases were introduced, and treatment is recommended in all of them like decontamination or any other general consideration.
