I bought this in the Vinorium sale as it was pretty pricey and thought it would make a good bottle for a special occasion. Having opened and tasted it, it seemed pretty strong and heady stuff albeit smooth to drink with a bit of a kick at the end. A quick check of the back label and WOW 18% alcohol! If the alcohol level was around normal (14% ish) it would be a 5 star wine, but sadly, I cannot give any more than 3 stars. Just too strong. I think an alcohol level this high should be mentioned on the website listing.

Wow! This has all the power of a Marananga shiraz - deep, strong chocolate and plum with a lovely spice. Bottle age mellow the tannins, but still has enough to keep it young and interesting. An absolute pleasure, have reordered already!
