“I am really enjoying this tea, it is a great pick-me-up during an afternoon slump and has got a nice caffeine kick. Smooth and clean, delicate or robust depending on how long it’s brewed, sometimes I like it a bit lighter, other times stronger. My go-to tea at the moment. Good with milk or I imagine would go well with a squeeze of lemon, too. Has a natural sweetness to it so would be perfect for those with a sweet tooth.”
“I enjoyed this tea and will be ordering again. Distinctive and, a little peculiarly, seems to develop in the cup, at least for me: sipping after a few minutes in the cup seems to reveal a distinctive and pleasant difference from one taken immediately after pouring.”
“This tea makes me think of those adverts for Carlsberg a few years ago, "if Carlsberg made..." where everything is the best it could possibly be. This Nuwara Eliya is a bit like that – it's like an ordinary Ceylon tea where the "tasty" dial has been turned up very high. There's no harshness, just a slight and rather unusual (as they say) tartness which gives it a bit of extra character and makes it go well with something sweet.”
