“I always find with Earl Grey tea that I need less leaf in the pot to avoid a bitter brew. Maybe it's the oil of bergamot that liberates more of the tannic acid from the tea leaf when you brew it.
But my rule of a level teaspoon full (and leave the extra half a spoon in the caddy) has proved to be a lovely refreshing blend, that you could enjoy chilled with lemon, in the summer months, or hot. And I'm not surprised it's so popular with other Loose Leaf Tea Co customers.”
