“Before I discovered The Loose Leaf Tea Co. I thought Kenya was the only African country to produce top notch tea.
As soon as I opened the packet I was hit by a delightful citrus aroma; a bit like when you open a fresh packet of coriander seeds. And that fruity citrus flavour comes through in the brew as well. A must try for those iced tea fans out there.”
“I enjoy trying the teas from Loose Leaf Tea Company.
There is a good selection of various types of teas. Having the sample and various sizes makes it easier to try out different teas.
They come in sturdy paper bags, well packed and not overly unnecessarily packaged.
I’m trying to transition back to loose leaf tea and to integrate this practice with the family, still trialing infuser options to see which will work out best for us at home, that create less waste and mess.
I especially enjoyed the Rwanda Rukeri tea. It’s very refreshing, fruity and flavoursome and not so dry on the palette. The tea leaves are quite beautiful long rolled black leaves that seem to keep their shape after infusing. I’m reordering this tea and the organic Roobios tea. Which, I find gives a much better flavour than teabags. I prefer a stronger brew of Roobios and you can pack more into the infuser than is placed in supermarket teabags. The taste is definitely better and Roobios , I find can be used as a base to add other herbal teas that can improve and complement the flavour.
Plus good ease of service and delivery from the company.”
“Like others, used to buy Rukeri tea from a high street retailer and loved it with safflower; however, this is an even better tea and I am delighted to find it. Will definitely buy more.”
“I had never tried this tea before and tasted my first cup yesterday. The tea was lovely a delicate, but tasty distinctive flavour and I just had to brew a second cup. I will definitely be drinking this tea regularly.”
“I had previously enjoyed Rwandan Rukeri from a well-known high street retailer, however they stopped selling it. Having searched thoroughly online I was delighted when I found the UK Loose Leaf Tea Company were selling it. The tea it brews up is very smooth and makes you want another cup after the first one. If you like a mellow brew then this is the one to choose.”
