I love these refills I hate not having one in the desk as a spare. They are so light weight yet I have no problems using my fountain pen. Just have to have one in each of my three Midoris.

A very fast service from order to delivery. Paper was as described, perfect for fountain pen and roller pen. I'll definitely be using this service again and again.

This is the best writing paper I've ever used, regardless of its thin-ness.The lightness of the paper and the fact that it means the notebook has more pages is a bonus. But the paper has an almost archaic quality so that the pen just glides on. I've found it great for fountain pen and gel-ink use. Unless you're pressing unduly hard, the bleedtrhough to the next page isn't signifiant to spoil the usability of the next page. I only hope that Midori continue to make this paper forever. An eye-opener and a surprise.

This is by far my favourite Midori Traveler's Notebook insert. The paper is excellent quality considering how thin it is. I love the fact that I can get a 'used' feel for my journal with just enough show-through, but no ink bleeding from my fountain pen. Great value.

I've just received my fourth refill - it probably tells you how much I love this paper! I use fountain pens on it, and I love broad juicy nibs. It does show through (a lot), but inks almost always show a really nice shading, and they NEVER bleed or go through, which I think just fabulous for such a thin paper! It's also one of my favourite correspondance papers: I remove neatly the 2 staples and use it for long but light letters. All in all, if I had only one paper in my drawers, it would be this one. Period.

I have used this paper with many fountain pen and ink combinations and I have never been disappointed. I have even used Diamine Poppy Red with a Pelican M205 highlighter and there was absolutely no bleeding or feathering. I love it as a work notepad and use it daily.

Even with a fountain pen, this paper doesn't feather or bleed. All the more remarkable when you consider how thin it is. It does allow show through on the reverse and the next page after that, but only in the same way a Smythson. Highly recommended.

As a leftie I agree with Carlos. It's fine at a desk or table when you've got time to wait for the ink to dry but not ideal if you're on the move. Some inks dry more quickly so I use a pen with one of them when travelling and I carry a blotter, which helps.
