When switching from Mounjaro to Wegovy everyone responds a little differently, and while some see quicker results, for others it can be a slower journey — but progress is still progress. We’re here to support you with the right dose, advice, and encouragement along the way.

I am sorry to see that you have an unanswered query regarding your medication.
Our support team have contacted you to provide some clinical advice.
“I find Wegovy very effective , it reduces my appetite, the amount that I can eat at a meal but not the enjoyment of food. I still look forward to delicious, healthy but smaller meals. Initially I lost 1.5 Kg a month but that has reduced to 1 kg a month. The only side effect I hadwas constipation which I managed with Fibogel, I do not have constipation any more. It is a much easier system than Slimming World with whom I lost 10kg over 6 months, previously. I have almost reached my target weight of 68Kg which is into the healthy BMI range. I feel so much better for having lost the weight, my blood pressure is lower, I have NO pain in my knees, feet or back which troubled me before. It was suggested by my GP that I may have been in a pre-diabetic range due to mildly elevated HbA1c, this has returned to normal.
I am very happy with the service the Independant Pharmacy provides, the syringes arrive always on time and well chilled, they provide all the information needed.
I am part of a WhatsApp group with 2 good friends who started Wegovy before me, I can recommend this as we keep in touch with the ups and downs of our weight loss journey.The group is also fun!”
