“Roscea is a curious condition with dietary or temperature or other triggers inc. local circulatory factors or genetics. Red blotches on the face esp. nose & cheeks. It tends to most troublesome in the summer. There is a ‘theory’ that microscopic mites may be a causative factor? I’m trying the Doxycycline over the winter months to gauge whether the blotches seem less prevalent. I don’t propose to use the meds all year round but they have been effective for others. So far they seem to have been effective.”
