“This is what is keeping my body and brain together regarding my menopause. Unfortunately it’s impossible to get hold of it because of the crazy National shortage which has been going on for 2 years and it’s just getting worse.
I belonged to this pharmacy because this was the only place I could get hold of Sandrena gel. I don’t know when it’s possible to get hold of it again because I have be searching everywhere on line and in stores without luck.
As a result, my GP is putting me back onto patches again.
It’s not the fault of this pharmacy that they are having difficulties supplying this fantastic HRT gel.
I can’t wait to be able to order this product normally again. It’s not just Sandrena gel which is being affected, but ALL HRT products. As more women are becoming more informed about the menopause and the fantastic health advantages it gives, it creates a greater demand for these products. The government has said that they will ‘try’ and sort this issue out, but for the last 2 years they have done nothing about it.
I personally don’t understand why the manufacturers can’t increase production? Maybe there is an issue getting hold of the products in the supply chain? I just wish it was sorted out IMMEDIATELY.
