“It helped with my skin but the side effect was hair loss and I tried to talk to a consultant about it but they denied it was because of the cream but when I searched online it does say one of the side effects is inflamed hair follicles.”
Hi Shahed,
Thank you for sharing your feedback; we always love hearing from our patients as it allows us to continue to improve the service and products we are able to provide,
I am pleased to hear that the Fucibet Cream has been effective in helping treat your skin condition, however given the symptom you have been experiencing I have escalated your feedback to our clinical team as we are keen to understand further and help provide additional advice.
After the nature of your comments, I wanted our clinical team to provide their understanding on the situation and offer some advice.
Our clinical team has advised that Fucibet cream is a popular and effective treatment for the management of infected inflammatory skin conditions. This is because it contains two active ingredients Fusidic acid (antibiotic) and Betamethasone (corticosteroid) that helps treat the inflammation as well as killing the bacteria that is responsible for the infection.
Whilst many people will not experience side effects to the cream the known and more common one can be localised skin irrational
The active ingredients within this treatment are not designed to be absorbed into your bloodstream and instead exert their effects locally directly on the application site many people will not experience any side effects to the cream
Therefore, I wanted to reassure you that it would be clinically unlikely to assume that the cause of hair loss is Fucibet cream, unless the hair loss is the application site.
Our support team have contacted you directly should you wish to discuss your order further with our clincial team.
“I am very impressed with the delivery time - next day. The fucibet cream worked very well for me and my hands have now recovered.
As an extra thing do you have any information regarding the shortage of Monopost eye drops which I cannot get at the moment.”
