I am sorry to hear that you did not get on with the taste of the tablet but did want to draw your attention to this being a non-soluble tablet of paracetamol.
The product information leaflet enclosed with the medication will give the direction for the use of "Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water" as these tablets are designed to be swallowed whole and not chewed or broken up.
This may explain why they taste slightly bitter.
