I have a hormone imbalance, resulting in irregular cycles, and also meaning I have a higher testosterone than what I should have, leaving me with unwanted facial hair on my chin, upper lip, and sideburn area. I first noticed this since the age of 15, (now 21) and the hair has just got worse over time, growing quicker, and thicker. As you can imagine, as a young girl, it really knocked my confidence, I'd constantly be looking in the mirror as soon as I'd get up, and before bed, having to pluck twice a day, my chin especially just felt horrible, rough and stubbly, I just felt horrible, it honestly was all I used to think about, even whenever I had made holiday or weekend plans, this is what I would first think of. I have tried many things to try and get it under control, such as plucking, IPL hair laser removal, hair removal cream, sprays, the pill, drinking herbal teas/eating healthy and literally none of them worked. I had come across Vaniqa after a lot of searching, but couldn't believe the price! At this point it really was getting me down, so I just decided to buy it after reading reviews.
Good news is the tube is a lot bigger than what I had expected, and you only need a little bit, so it will last for a good while! I have been using this cream now for coming up to 2 months which is the recommended time to use to start seeing results, (even though I was seeing them a lot earlier on) and I am just absolutely amazed, the hair on my chin, upper lip, and sideburns have literally gone! Every morning now I wake up and stroke my face because it is just so soft, and I just can't quite believe it! I used to pluck my face twice a day, now probably once every three days, and even then there isn't many! I just feel a massive weight has been lifted, I mean I can wear no makeup, when I wake up I haven't got to go straight to the mirror and start plucking, it really has just boosted my confidence so much! For anyone who may be in a similar situation, I really would purchase, I agree it is pricey, but a little goes a long way and it ACTUALLY WORKS!
