“A deep, distinctive beer which is truly 'liquid bread' - not a hint of bitterness, just smooth, dark, satisfying beer. Pleasantly strong at a little over 7%, it requests (not 'demands'!) respect. Pity it's in such limited quantities. Definitely a re-order from us!”

“British Trappist? Really? How can this be? And yet this is a really good Trappist ale, full of rich flavour. Try it and you will be pleasantly surprised. I was!”
