“good quality materal but sizing is really small. I got large and am size 8 and is really tight?”

“This will be the second pair of Hemptons that I've owned. I use them commuting so I wear them every day in the winter over top of a pair of mtn bike shoes. The previous pair I owned was an extremely tight fit and very tricky to get on. This new pair is one size up but it is still very tight to put on so the size up really didn't make much of an improvement. It's not the length of the shoe but the diameter around the shoe and the fit over top of the clasps/boas. Also, the high ankle is nice BUT, it's too tight for me to do up as my calves are too big (and my calves are not particularly big). So I'm disappointed that the larger size did not solve these problems. It's a shame because the basic design is very nice.”

“Offers excellent visibility. Windproof and waterproof that keeps my feet warm in cold weather. Seems to be a little tight and struggled to get the zip fully up. Easy to clean but mostly likely will have to do this after each ride.”

“Die to its poor fit to the human anatomy, I am unable to recommend this product. I wear a size 40 shoe and can only just barely get size large to fit over my shoes. More important, note in the photo of the product that it is the same diameter from the foot to halfway up the calf. Note, however, that your calf is much bigger around than your ankle. Alas, you won’t be able to zip these more than halfway up to the top and won’t get the Velcro closures to meet. I wondered if they were designed by AI….”

“A very snug fit (sizing on the small size). Look well made. Like the hi-viz on the rear. Good long sock. Like the velcro strap at the top of the sock. Would like to see a deep winter version of this cover shoe.”
