“I ordered this hat 3 times and each time there was a mistake on the company’s end. It was replaced but the latest version hosts a usb-c light over the original design that has a usb stick. I wouldn’t have bought the hat with the usb-c version. It is a warm hat but the light feature change is not desirable.”

“I ordered a Heydon Black hat based on the information provided on the web site. This suggested that the light could be charged using an inbuilt tab that would plug directly into a USB socket.. When the hat arrived it was clearly different from the original specification in that there was no protruding tab and that a separate USB C charging cable was required. This was not supplied and had to be purchased separately. It would appear that the specification had changed without the supplier updating the details. I would have expected that, given the change in design, the necessary cable would have been provided. Otherwise it is a good quality product. NB the website has now been updated to clarify that the hat can be charged via a USB C cable.”

“Used for walking the dog on dark mornings - been excellent during recent wet and cold weather - find I have to recharge the light every 2 days to keep the brightness but not an issue”
