“I’ve got a big head (24 inches) so it’s hard to find hats that fit. This one is really comfortable. I could have almost gone a size down but the adjustment on the back works great. The fleece liner is super soft, you kinda forgot you’re wearing it. I’ve not tried it in the rain yet but I can tell it’s going to be very warm. Very pleased with it!”

“I have a big head so was looking for an XXL hat. These are Kirstead's are big. They are a little too tall in shape though. I would not use it all the time, but in extreme cold and blowing snow it's great.”

“Do not order for men that have a larger head size. I ordered the XXL and it barely fit my son who has an average size head(he wears standard men’s ball cap). It did not fit my older son who was the intended recipient. He wears an XL ball cap. Not sure how they rate this an CXL. Otherwise it is a warm hat”

“The sealskinz graphic above the hat visor peeled off after a week of very gentle use. The overall quality is good. My head is average size xxl fits well. The ear flaps are loose fitting so cold air still reaches ears. The hat would benefit from straps on ear flaps to keep cold air out. I'm in a cold region of Canada. We havent had very cold weather yet so not sure how hat will fare in extreme subzero temperatures. Very happy with shipping.”

“I purchased this hat for my trip to Iceland where you need a hat that is waterproof, warm and windproof. I believe this hat covers all those aspects but it's so frustrating, as even at maximum adjustment it only just covers my ears but as I'm walking it rides up. Similarly the peak of the hat, if not buttoned up, as you walk the hat rises up at the back and the peak comes down obscuring your view. The good news is you can button the peak up, then forgoing the peak's ability to shield water from your view. Ultimately, I purchased a different hat over in Iceland as this hat was so frustrating. Perhaps the hat sizing information isn't correct and for the likes of me this hat isn't suitable as the size only goes to XXL and not XXXL. If I had realised the frustration a hat could provide, I would not have bought it.”
