“Bought in December ahead of the cold weather in the UK and it does the job perfectly - keeps head and ears warm, while the visor keeps rain out of the eyes. Being able to fold and clip the ear flaps up is handy too when you want to cool off a bit. It fits fairly snugly on my head which is on the smaller size, so only thing to consider if you've got an especially large noggin.”

“Nice hat, not as roomy as some other sealskinz of the same size. Can still get draughty around the ears.”

“The cap is good quality and fitting. Very comfortable. The weakness is that the fleece doesn't enclose the ears letting too much air in. Colombia used to do a similar cap but elasticated the rim. This is better than adding an unfashionable chin strap. Then your cap would be perfect”

“The Diss is a nice warm cap. Only thing on the one i received, the buttons at the ear flaps are not in the right ( same) position so when they are tightened they are in a differend position. Also when the flaps are down the right ear is nice and covered but left stays open. This is because the fleece on the inside is bigger than the outside fabric so its curling. When this shouldn't be like this it would be a very nice cap. Because i ordered the cap at Sealskinz UK i dont wanna have al the trouble of sending it back so ill keep it but probably won't us it much, too bad.”

“The best part of this hat is it keeps you warm and dry whilst being breathable. I'm usually wet through with perspiration but I don't suffer at all with this hat. It's also great to fold up the ear flaps when it's not too cold.”

“I have bought Sealskinz socks in the past and this the first hat i have purchased. This is a real cold weather hat with the practicality for people who wear glasses. It feels well made and will protect ears and back of neck from cold. I am waiting to try this out when the temperature drops to a few degrees and lower to see if it performs as expected.”

“Not had to wear it yet but looks and feels good,real test will be through the winter which it was bought for”
