“A warm and effective, lightweight hat - but the XXL was too small for my large head.”

“Bought the XXL size - I have very thick hair and hoods on most jackets don’t stay up in the rain. I wanted something that would anchor a hood and also stop rain from running down my face. The Kirstead hat does both of these things, but is VERY tight on my head, even with hair scraped into a ponytail. I anticipate needing to wear a Buff or headscarf underneath the hat if I want to keep curls intact after wearing it. A bit more room for larger heads and hair would be welcome! On the plus side it is warm and waterproof, and folds down small so I can carry it in my dog-walking bag as a precaution on changeable weather days.”
