How is the finger and thumb length? Come up short, they nip my finger tips

“Hi, I’m sure they are a great glove but unfortunately they are a bit tight on my hands so I haven’t tried them in the rain. I had tried on a medium in a number of shops near me and they were fine but never purchased. I wished I had gone for the larger size so I’ll try and sell these and the buy the next size up. So not a negative review. Many thanks Lee.”
