I ordered the 2 xl gloves thinking they would easily fit my average size hands only to find it struggle to get them passed the elasticated wrist . So I payed all that money so that I can't get them on without a massive struggle. When I do there is at least an inch extra on each finger that's spare so gripping anything is out. Other gloves a lot cheaper I have no problem with but these are rediculous with the sizing

Hi Ian, Thanks for your review and the 3 stars. We’re sorry the Rocklands gloves were tight at the wrists and with excess finger length. Please do not hesitate to contact us at help@sealskinz.com if you have any further queries or concerns. Warm regards, Team Sealskinz Ltd

Very disappointed fingers get cold at 5 degrees temperature so not sure what their definition of extreme cold is also had to go 2 sizes up as they must be made for tiny hands. Not tried them in the rain yet so can’t comment on waterproofness.

They're sold as 'waterproof extreme cold weather gloves'. They are waterproof (so far any way), but they're very far from being 'extreme cold weather gloves'. It just makes you wonder what's going on for them to even make that claim when it's so obviously untrue? Overall though, they're nice gloves, which is why I've still left 4/5 despite the misleading claim.

These gloves can keep your hands warm in the winter. They have plenty of good insulation on the back to keep out the cold. The palms are grippy and the way they have manufactured the gloves it is relatively easy to get them on and off even when your hands are a little wet. What would make these gloves really special would be if they were manufactured with them having an inward curvature towards the palm instead of just being straight and having to cause the curvature by wearing and making a fist.

Quality is excellent. I’ve been a Sealskins user both military and civilian for years. However Sealskins do not make a glove to fit me anymore I’m a size 13 uk. I’ve had to change to an inferior glove. I returned my last order. I will say the refund was processed quickly. Over to you Sealskins.

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up Long, there is space at the finger tips
Very well made and well designed gloves. I ordered XXL because the website seemed to suggest that if gloves are too tight they can be too cold without some air around the fingers. The gloves are helping my cold musician's hands when I walk in the low temperatures and chilly winds here in the Appalachian mountain winter.

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up Long, there is space at the finger tips
I received the gloves in ten days, in Italy. The seam well made. Unfortunately, I won't have the chance to wear them because the size I chose is too large. I was missleaded by the size guide and the advice to get one size larger than my measured size. So, I am now stuck with a pair of gloves that fit well on the palm of my hand but with the fingers nearly an inch longer than what I need. This throws me away. If I had chosen one or two sizes smaller gloves, maybe the fingers would be of the right measure, but what about the palm of my hand??!!! Would it fit well?
