“Bought these to replace my aging windstoppers.. went for the medium as they fitted nicely to the top of my fingers without an air gap at the top to get cold.. they are nice gloves and seem to be well made. Having worn them a few times I always start with a good 30 mins of cold hands until blood circulates and I get and stay warm.. thumb is a little tight but a large would have been too big.”

“Located in Vermont. I used these gloves from early season grouse (late September) all through deer season and until now (early January). So far so great. I tend to run very cold in the hands and feet so on the really cold days I wear these gloves and also the cold weather socks. Great products.”

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up Long, there is space at the finger tips

“I first bought Large, which were a tight fit across the palm but I found that the fingers were almost 1cm too long So I exchanged them for medium- same problem. Fingers still too long. At that stage I gave up and took a refund”

“Well, the gloves are lovely and look waterproof. But the reason for my one star rating is that they are miles too big. On the website I'd filtered on women's gloves (not unisex) - and so had selected a Medium size when I ordered. (My hand size is 7 inches). It wasn't clear that these gloves are unisex size - and therefore I should have ordered a Small. When the gloves arrived, I checked the size when they were on the packaging - it showed a medium so I thought all was ok. I couldn't actually try them on though without cutting them from the packaging - only to find out they are huge on my hands. Way too big all round and fingers are very long. But as I've cut the packaging I can't now return them. So I'm stuck with a pair of gloves I'll never wear - too big for me, too small for my husband. Can't return to get a refund. Not very happy. A real shame as the Sealskinz brand came recommended to me for waterproof hiking gloves”
