How is the finger and thumb length? Just Right, Fit Perfect
I'm a cyclist that NEEDS a glove under 4 degrees c. I have many many gloves, and a cold snap early in mid-November convinced me I wasn't tolerating pain anymore. A 45 min commute turns me into a crying wreck. Pros - even heat - my hands are no longer cold. This is a win. - the settting is easy to navigate and I can put the gloves outside and keep my hands from getting cold. Note the hands are just fine, they don't feel 'warm' at 1 and 2 degrees, crucially they are NOT COLD. Cons Palm padding is short at the base of the palm - I usually ride without gloves but when I do I want support in all the right places - I suspect these are optimised for 'road bar' riders vs 'flat bar' riders. On a flat bar it is clear the padding isn't in the right spot.

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up short, they nip my finger tips
These gloves were eventually replaced. I did not enjoy the experience of having to deal with your AI assistanant who said that i had ordered the wrong size or should try stretching the leather! when I did speak to a human they originally agreed to with AI! they eventually asked me to send the gloves back and they were replaced because there was a manufaturing fault. the new gloves are better but still not perfect

Hello Simon, Thank you for sharing your experience with the heated gloves. We're sorry to hear that your initial experience was frustrating, especially with our AI assistant. We appreciate your patience and are glad you received a replacement due to the manufacturing fault. It's great to know that the new gloves are better, though we understand they’re still not perfect. Your feedback is essential to us, and we’re continuously working to improve. If there’s anything else you’d like to discuss or if you have further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best regards, The Sealskinz Team

I undertook a fair bit of research pre purchasing and very happy with the performance of the gloves. I had a post sale query which was fully answered promptly by Sealskinz customer service. Thank you. If I was buying again, I would maybe have tried the XXL rather than XL (the former wasn't in stock') However, the XL fits OK and I expect will 'give a little' in due course.

Excellent gloves, but sizing is on the small size. I bought the largest size (extra large) for my partner and they were only just big enough. Fitted me fine, but my hands are not extra large.

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up short, they nip my finger tips
Bought the gauntlets as I suffer from Reynauds (poor blood flow) I measured my hands carefully and they were half a centimetre smaller than the size I bought, nevertheless the gloves are slightly small. At temperatures down to -5C, on the highest setting, they were quite good except for the very tips (top 2-3 m) of the fingers. After ~ 2hrs the batteries ran out and my fingers rapidly got extremely cold. In that aspect they were no better than normal leather gauntlets. That said there is not much difference in the 3 heat settings and there is much better battery life. Without heating they are also no better than normal leather or other wind proof gloves. To get the best benefit you need to prewarm the gloves before putting them on. The battery recharge time is about 5 hrs. The liners, whilst they do not fully pull out when removing the gloves, they do pull out slightly -enough to make them uncomfortable, sufficient to send them back but by this time they had been worn a couple of times so contravene the returns policy. In all knowing what I now know I would not recommend them - certainly wouldn’t buy them again.

Bought xl, I'm an xl in gloves and these are a very tight fit. Heat up fine but only get warm, if your hands are really cold before putting these on, it'll take the full battery power to warm your hands up. Batteries are very expensive from here but you can buy the exact same from many sellers on Ebay Would I buy again, definitely not. I'd return them if I could.

My hands aren’t huge, but even the XLs are quite tight. The heat doesn’t go down the fingers as well as I would have liked.
