“Absolutely excellent I injured the bones in my hand and when the cold gets into it it is agony. These gloves mean I can reduce the medication in winter now. Would recommend to anyone.”

How is the finger and thumb length? Just Right, Fit Perfect

“The Sealskinz thermal gloves have become a favourite in our household. We are all daily cyclists, regardless of the weather or the time of year. Two of us also suffer from Reynaud's disease (meaning our fingers become very painful as soon as temperatures start dropping). After trying other gloves and mitten over the years we found this pair. For the first time ever fingers are not painful and do not get blistered over the course of a winter season. It is not just the heating that sets these gloves apart. They have been designed specifically for cyclists (tight cuffs, pressure-relief points near the base of the fingers, goatskin palm for extra protection) and are superbly well made. Moreover they are far more waterproof than other gloves and can keep you dry for much longer. Best of all the heating keeps functioning while the gloves are wet. There are a few smaller points of attention. First of all, batteries last for up to two hours, but not much more before they need recharging. It is best to only heat until blood starts circulating again through your fingers, after which your own body heat kicks in to keep you warm. Secondly, because of the relatively tight fit, it may be a little bit fiddly to put the gloves on. Finally, as with every other pair, after a season of intensive use the insulation starts degrading as it is slowly getting compressed. Nothing desastrous and the gloves will serve many more winters, but just noteworthy.”

How is the finger and thumb length? Just Right, Fit Perfect

“Excellent quality gloves, as you expect with Sealskinz. Only drawback was the sizing, probably should have gone a size larger again, measured as a medium but ordered a large. Just a bit snug getting them on. Battery compartment is a bit bulky around the wrist which is in the way of my watch but other than that can’t complain! Heat is just right, not too hot on high setting but you don’t really need it to be that hot!”

How is the finger and thumb length? Come up short, they nip my finger tips

“Have only used these gloves a few times so far in just below 0 temps. Heat is only really felt on top of hand, would have been nice if the fingers where heated as well. Usually wear size large, these L's are quite tight on my hands XL would have been better fit.”

“Found to be no better than non heated. Set back for testing. One battery lasted twice a long as other”
