Hello Linda, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry if there has been any confusion. Our Acle gloves are a water repellent model, not a waterproof one. The water repellent coating on the gloves will perform as the name states and will repel small amounts of water. They can be worn in areas where the gloves may be splashed with water or exposed to water such as very light rain for very short periods of time. However, if the gloves are worn in wet conditions such as rain for extended periods of time, the water will cease to bead off the gloves, will coat them, and will soak into the material as it is not designed for a waterproof purpose.
