Really impressed with these, had them on during a rainy windy day out sailing and they kept the hands warm and surprisingly dry, highly recommend

Been using at work for 2 weeks now and they are an improvement but my hands are still getting numb with cold... they are good for a light breeze but for winter they are nearly useless

Ummm... nice and long up the forearm, fingers are far too short, resulting in webbing between fingers - and no, I'm not some Harlem Globetrotter size 11 hand guy. Would be a nightmare to wear all day. Great idea, needs work.

Dont really hold to extreme cold. I work in the freezer and they still get cold fast.

Thank you for your review of our Ultra Grip Gauntlet gloves. Our Ultra grips are a thermal rated 2 glove- this is scored out of a maximum warmth rating of 5 and means that they are a cooler glove more suited for warmer conditions. They may not provide the level of insulation by themselves that you require when working in freezing conditions and we would recommend trying a pair of our Merino wool liner gloves underneath to boost the warmth and insulation.

I used the with the liners and they are very warm. Wore them in the rain and hands stayed dry.

I work in the produce department of a grocery store and handle wet items and heavy boxes all day. When I started, my hands were getting dry from the constant moisture and my arms were getting cut up. I ran across these gloves during my search for protection and have bought 3 pairs since. The only downside is that they are not cut proof (I trim veges) so that's why I go through a pair a month, but they do the job I bought them for. My hands stay dry even when submerging them in buckets of water, and I can still grip the boxes, even when wet. I have full use of my fingers for smaller, detailed work. The gauntlets protect my arms from getting the rashes I was getting before. Great for my job...

I bought these gloves because it says they are waterproof. I own a swimming pool business and my hands are constantly in and out of pools daily. One of the gloves is waterproof, the other one is not. Wasted Money

We are sorry the gloves are failing you. They should be fully waterproof if no water is allowed to get in through the top of the glove or the waterproof membrane is intact. Please return them to us for a replacement pair. Our USA returns process can be accessed by request from ukcustomerservices@sealskinz.com as we will need to send you a form and the address to send them to.
