How is the finger and thumb length? Just Right, Fit Perfect

“The gloves are warm and waterproof. So far have been good in the rain a couple degrees above zero. Also warm enough on dry rides a few degrees below zero. Grip on thumb and index finger are like you would expect on a mountain biking glove. Size runs small. I typically wear a size 9 glove, sometimes, size 8. My hand measures 8.5” so I went with size 9 and it is just a bit too snug. There is limited stretch so when holding the handlebars, they are quite tight across the MCP joint.”
