“I thought Sealskinz was a brand of high quality socks / gloves / hats whose best attribute was their waterproofness. I bought them for this sole purpose as wanted to pack them and wear in bad weather when on long hikes. However, I wore them on a short test walk where it was raining moderately. My fingers and the inside of the gloves were damp after 20 minutes. I then wore them in my garden while raking leaves, and picked up a few leaves with my hands when the gloves were on - after an hour they were soaked through. To me they really don't justify the very expensive price tag. Quite disappointed - will have to look else wear for truly waterproof gloves. They do appear well-made and sturdy other than that.”

“Delivery was fine, ive brought Seal skin gloves for years but this last pair the sizing is rubbish, more like a medium than an XXL”

“Good gloves, properly waterproof and not bulky. A bit long in the fingers for me and they do not last as long as they should for the price but are still the best of their kind around.”

“First time wearing these gloves, wet Hebridean day,walking my dog, and they were soaked through in under an hour. I had the wrists tucked under the sleeves of my very waterproof jacket. I could not believe how quickly they absorbed the rain, right through to my skin. I could squeeze the water out as I walked.”
