“Although there was an inordinate delay in delivery, resolved by Sealskinz customer service, the Northwold socks I ordered were received allowing me to try them out with my different winter boots. They are not heavy or thick socks so my toes aren't squeezed in the boots like some other winter socks do, which is what I wanted. As thermal socks go these keep my feet warm better than others I tried. They are long socks, meaning they can be pulled up almost to the knees, but I prefer to keep them lower on the calf muscles as the socks are tight fitting. All in all I like these socks and would recommend them.”
