“I carefully selected the sock that would meet my needs. This review is to help others. I wanted a waterproof sock that I could use when off road running (toe holes in trainers) or walking my dog where I was likely to be wearing non waterproof footwear in wet grassy fields. I have had the Starston for over a month now and used on 3 occasions and they have surprised me by meeting my expectations. I deliberately chose a merino wool mix and they are significantly warm. I chose to go down one size, instead of my normal 9-11 (large) I went for 6-8 (Medium) and I cannot underestimate (looking at other peoples mistakes on their reviews) what a good decision that was. The sock felt just right and I have put a normal sock under without any issues. I am really happy with my choice and mid length was also the right choice. I have confidence now to buy a second pair.”

“Bought for my husband who works outside, all weather. Keeps his feet lovely & warm however the best bit ….. is they are waterproof. Fabulous”
