“Really unhappy with these very expensive socks. The Small did not fit me and the Medium did not fit my husband. The small fit my husband's size US9 feet. If you are a woman with small feet do not believe their lying size chart.”

“I wear a Women's size 8 wide in shoes. Got these Bircham all weather ankle lenght socks in size medium. Used these as part of an effective shoe/sock system to hike the windy, rainy, cold Laugavegur trail in Iceland mid-September. Kept my feet dry and cozy (even though my gore-tex rain pants and shell wetted out one of the days due to hours of intense wind and rain), and allowed me to wear my non-waterproof, but light and flexible trail runners (Altra Lone Peaks). I have wide hobbit feet and developing bunions, and was able to comfortably layer these over thin (liner) toe socks + Correct Toes. This shoe + sock system really made the trail enjoyable for me - I felt light, agile, surefooted and stayed dry and cozy; never had any hot spots, minimal foot fatigue, and no ankle/lower leg fatigue or strain. If you have wide feet, these are great - I tried a thinner/lightweight style (forget which one), but they were too constricting in the toes for me.”
