“I used to hike in waterproof trail runners which always started leaking after about 200 miles of use. I bought my first pair of Sealskinz about 5 years ago and, with a thin to medium thickness liner sock, they are the perfect solution for keeping my feet dry and warm while hiking in our drizzly, wet winters. The runners and outside of the Sealskinz sock can get soaked but my liner socks and feet stay dry. The Sealskinz eventually will start to let in moisture, but the socks are much less expensive to replace than the shoes. I was worried that waterproof socks would make my feet sweat, but that hasn't been a problem for me. And, while the waterproof socks don't fit exactly like a regular sock, with a liner sock that also has not been a problem for me.”

“I like the socks but haven’t had a chance to wear them. I bought a couple weeks before needing them and when they hadn’t arrived a few days before my hike I had to order a pair off Amazon. When they made it to me the bag was ripped open. Kicker I received them two days after my hike.”

“I like the socks for looks and quality. Fine and effective for walking and keeping dry feet in the rain, but I find them too warm to run in, even when only 5 degrees C.”

“Bought according to the sizing guidelines but these were like a balloon on my foot (UK size 6). Not only in length but in wdith & height too. The M is large enough to fit my husbands foot so hopefully can be put to good use there. Do still really want to try them out though so have now bought an S (which should be 1-3 sized too small for me).”

“Worked a treat keeping my feet dry when walking on v wet ground - the trainers were soaked. BUT, although dry, my feet got v cold & stayed that way. Any tips on how to remedy this?”
