“Having spent a weekend on Dartmoor where my boots were pretty much submerged under water most of the time the socks held up pretty well. My feet were wet at the end of the hikes but probably not as much if I didn't have them on. Saying that the water eventually penetrated the Gortex of my Solomon hiking boots. When sodden the socks take ages to dry.”

“Wife purchased a pair for Xmas for me. I normally use Bridgdales which are good but she thought sealskinz would be better. I wore them 8 times and they had a hole. My boots are broken in and I keep my toe nails short. So I got a replacement from sealskinz which went quiet smoothly but now these too are starting to wear thin on the toes. So what I do now is put a pair of cotton socks on top of the sealskinz socks. Never again I’m goi g back to Bridgdales. Far longer lasting.”
