“The runner is just as it appeared in photo (background pattern down the middle is a little darker). I arrived quickly and was easy to install. We started ar the bottom and used a staple gun to tuck it under the bull nose edges of the steps and tacked each corner on the stairs (using a staple gun - the kind that is similar to a brad nailer). I don't think the rods were totally necessary, but add a decorative touch.”
