“My sparking water decaf Peru cha cha beans were roasted on 3rd April and used today for the first time, exactly 10 days ago so just about right. I set my Niche Zero grinder to 15 as a starter towards 'dialing in' the beans and what a lovely espresso I pulled first time. A really thick and creamy crema and perfect base for the steamed milk which produced a nice heart shape on the surface. Great tasting coffee too which is of course the most important thing. “A lovely rounded flavoursome cupful of the tastiest coffee, who knew decaf could taste this good. Usually I’d have a digestive or two with my coffee but with Rounton a digestive would only detract from the fabulous rich flavour. Also my house smells divine with the aroma of freshly ground coffee.”
