Fostair Inhaler, or better known as the Pink Asthma Inhaler is a Prescription Asthma Treatment that is used to treat and prevent asthma attacks and asthma symptoms, particularly in adults.It contains two active ingredients - Beclometasone dipropionate and Formoterol fumarate dihydrate.
Beclometasone dipropionate, an example of a corticosteroid, is an anti-inflammatory that works by reducing irritation and swelling in the lungs. Corticosteroids are used on a regular basis to suppress the immune system which is pivotal to treat the symptoms and complications of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Formoterol fumarate dihydrate is a muscle relaxant which allows the lungs to dilate, meaning the patient can breathe easier. It belongs to a family of drugs called Long Acting Bronchodilators (LABA) and is usually taken as a regular twice a day dose.
Both these active ingredients combined the Fostair Inhaler will give the patient relief of asthma and COPD symptoms for long periods of time.
