“As a large man of 27st this chair is brilliant nice emount of room and the gas keeps me up . Easy to build aswell.
1 thing I'd add to office boffins- get some pictures of the chair with a big man sat in it I debated days before buying.”

“Being a little larger than average (Otherwise known locally as a, "Fat Lad") I had been searching for a good quality Office Chair since I was now working from home 60% of my time.
Bought a couple from my local Swedish retailer and though they were perfectly fine, not really capable to carry my 150kg ! Within a short space of time things started to fall off, the chair not me !
SO kept looking and came across the "Office Boffins" Website and bought an office chair from them. It arrived in a few days but then imagine my DIY Hell when I had to build the thing up.
Bringing in the help of my far more capable wife, we had the chair built up in less than half an hour, and I am sitting on it now as I type.
It is big, sturdy, all the features work and most importantly it is really comfortable. It feels like it will cope with me fine. The price was really cheap compared to other department stores and websites.
I like the recline feature and the extra padded seat .... not that I don't have enough padding, but it really makes a long day more bearable

“Very comfortable especially as I am working a lot from home these days. the chair has that extra support under the arches of my legs, which my old chair did not have. Assembly is relatively simple, however, DIAGRAM 2 in my view shows the seat the wrong way round!! When you get to diagram 3 you will I hope see what I mean. It is very important that you DO NOT TIGHTEN ALL THE BOLTS until you have the main assembly complete. The main seat and back assembly is heavier than you think so if you have a bad back, get someone to help you lower it onto the WHEEL BASE. Altogether good value and I recommend this chair.”

“I spent ages searching major websites for a work from home chair that is heavier duty than my previous chairs that have all failed, either from the gas strut or materials used in the armrests. Eventually, I found the Office boffins website, and there it was, the leather faced Alpha XL Bariatric Manager chair that supports up to 500lb (230kg), 24 hours a day. I weigh 100kg and there's 3 inches either side of my waist to the armrests, so plenty of room for someone much larger.
The chair arrived promptly after ordering and assembled easily. The quality is excellent, it's very comfortable and it looks smart in my lounge / dining room where the dining table has been converted into a work from home office. The chair feels very strong, and is very comfortable, which you will need if you are into 'hybrid working'. In my case this entails one day in the office and four days working from home. It is well worth investing in this chair for that purpose.”

It really is a great little workhorse. Great to hear that it arrived quickly and you were able to assemble it easily. It sounds like it's fitting in perfectly in your WFH / home office setup there. If we have to sit for 8 hours a day, it's so important to be comfortable while doing it. Great result all round!
