Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Very pleased, had a bit of trouble fixing it with the clip to the harness but it has stayed firm and is certainly an effective light. We go out about 5.30 am, one on lead, the other off lead and it’s great for keeping him in view in the dark.”

“I was really pleased with the smaller one last year but seems Mountain Dog have sourced an even better unit from Houndhedz - quick shipping / lovely product - am I strange for wanting the clocks to change now so I can start to use it in anger?”

“Providing you understand these are a no swimming collar light, they are great! They stay on the collar much better than other brands that rely on a slide clip. The fact that you can change the colour is helpful to black labs that all look the same in the dark countryside. This is a repeat purchase as it outlived the expensive gober orilights that fell off.”

“Really impressive. I charged them when I got them (even though the lights were bright) and haven’t needed to charge them again yet after several hours use. They clip to my dog’s collar and are really secure - thinking these would work really well for night runs and ultra runs where you need to clip a light on to your pack. The colour choice is really useful - you can see which way your dog is facing just by the colour of the lights. Lastly the lights are really bright - they illuminate the reflective colour and my dog is easy to spot on those nighttime zoomies”
