It's a good solid ramp, I was instantly confident that it would remain stable while I dragged my chow chow up it! She isn't keen on the sandpaper-like surface, though I appreciate that it is intended to be non-slip. I met someone in the park with an identical ramp, who recommended lining it with carpet tiles, which I shall do. As ramps go I suspect it is up there with the best; it's just that chow chows are very suspicious of anything new.

A little heavier than I’d expected but well made. The only real negative I’d say is the non slip surface. Basically it’s a coarse sand paper that scratches and marks instantly a dog steps on it. Both our dogs took to using it very quickly after a little coaxing with treats and now fly up and down it.

Hi, my dog (an Old English Mastiff ) weighing about 14st is not very keen on using these ramps. I am trying to persevere but I am having difficulty getting him used to them, so much so that he has scraped off some of the grit like surface digging his paws in. I would like to have seen the ramps be a little wider as I am sure that's the cause of his anxiety, him being a giant breed.

Perfect Lenght to give a gentler slope for 12 year old lab with arthritis. Others have commented and I will too. The surface is very scratchable. The stud to hold in place once slid together is stupidly placed. Handle on side is useable and helpful. Folded it slides across floor behind front seats. Also room to lay on boot floor of Kia Sportage when out on walk. Once got the hang of handling it it’s almost ideal!

Overall a reasonable product but the press stud arrangement to secure the ramp when stowed is rather fiddly and someone’s gets trapped in the sliding mechanism.
