“I have been using these for around a year for my elderly labrador's back feet as arthritis means she drags her feet and had worn her nails down until they began to bleed slightly. She can still enjoy her daily walks and her nails have regrown. Each pack of 4 lasts around 3 to 4 months before they wear through ( wearing one pair at a time ) Once I got the hang of putting them on (nice and tightly with the velcro strap) they always stay on and she is happy to have them put on so I don't feel they are uncomfortable. If I didn't have them I know her quality of life would be much poorer and she possibly would not have survived another year without the stimulation & exercise of her walks.”

“I got these for our 12 year old labrador who's injury aged 1 has caught up with her meaning the strength and power in her back legs has become very much reduced these past few months. She is now dragging her back legs and has worn down her claws to the point they were bleeding. The booties protect her claws from further wearing, allowing them to grow back. She is quite happy to have them fitted and walks well in them. There are a few drawbacks although I can't think how you would get around them: the booties add a bit of extra length to her feet meaning she drags her feet more with them on and you really have to push them up while tightening the velcro to get a good fit but with a bit of practice you get the hang of fitting them. I couldn't find another product that would have worked so well for our old lady. She has been able to resume her daily walks that she loves.”

“Excellent product purchased due to a foot injury to keep dressing and wound protected with a view to also using for walks and runs in the future to prevent injury. Haven’t had a chance to use them on walks or runs yet only in the garden but they appear to fit well and be secure - hence the 4 stars as won’t know if they are 5 star until ‘tested in anger’.”

“Hattie has really bad arthritis in her elbows and paws so her mountain boots help protect her pads as she walks with a swing, which results in her taking the skin off. The boots are great protection but although the foot size is correct the cuff stretch to get the boot on over her paws is a little tricky and it would be easier if there was a bit more stretch. Velcro ideal to fasten !”
