Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“This lead is brilliant. We wish we’d bought it sooner. We have a 3 year old working cocker. This lead lets us walk further in places where it isn’t safe to let him off the lead. It is long enough to give him more freedom to explore and sniff whilst still being relatively easy to handle. In fact we rarely use it at its full length as at its longest he has a bit too much rope to wrap around things. It has hugely reduced his frustration in some situations. The relatively thin diameter rope makes holding the lead more difficult and potentially more painful than other leads. But this is the compromise for having a nice light and easy to handle rope that is compact when packed away in its pouch. Our dog is only 9kg though and doesn’t pull continuously. If you have a larger dog that pulls on a lead it would perhaps be quite difficult to use though I think you could add a ‘handle’ using a climbers prussik.”

“Game changer! Amazing bit of kit. And the waist strap is suitable for up to 40inch waists with a few CM’s to spare. The pouch is much smaller than I imagined, probably about the palm of my hand. Comfy. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent quality, great for hands-free walking. Lock is firm and release is smooth. Only thing I’d like would be a retraction coil or something to manage the loose end”

“This is absolutely essential for anyone hiking with their dog. I don’t know how I managed without this until now. I can give my dog, much more freedom whilst also staying in total control. I found hiking with my dog a much more enjoyable and safer experience, for both him and I. Highly recommend this product to anyone especially if you are hiking or in the mountains.”

“This is very good I am not sure it’s worth 70 quid mind you! It is a very good piece of equipment and I’m pleased with the product may be in all day. Happy with the price I paid for it! It’s easy to use, it took me a little while to get used to the clip, but once I got used to that it’s not a problem! I’m definitely very happy with it! Just a cost”
