Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“This is the first harness I've bought for my dog as we were just using collar and lead, but I wanted to try something to help reduce his pulling. I was dubious that there would be an improvement but honestly the harness has made a HUGE difference. He doesn't pull at all any more and I no longer feel that he is choking himself. Walks are so much more enjoyable for me now. You won't regret buying this harness.”

“So far, very very happy with this harness! It fits nicely with the measurements we took and looks great. The front hook is robust and works well for additional cues for pulling (!). The harness dries quickly too, which is another bonus when you have a water loving labrador!”

“Very sturdy harness, though looks light and comfortable for my puppy pal. Only initial problem was the over-the-head fitting - not easy with a toothy puppy, though she now associates the harness with walking so is less inclined to fight having something over her head. As she grows, will definitely be looking to up-size with Ruffwear.”
