Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Inescapable for the master escape artiste otherwise known as Willis. If you own a beagle this is the harness you need, great fit, he looks like a swat team member, handle further down the harness is great for helping his slightly chubby behind into the boot too. Quite a small fit over the head and need to manoeuvre a leg into the front strap as well but a few treats scattered whilst getting it on meant no stress for either of us”

“Really pleased with the quality of this harness. Pretty easy to adjust, well-made, great colour and the pooch doesn't mind wearing it... The handle is really useful for the time when you need to give your four-legged friend a little boost. Wipes clean nicely with a bit of soapy warm water. A possible area for improvement: I've had another Ruffwear harness that had a concealed compartment to put in an ID tag. This is missing from this harness, and it means I've had to clip his tag onto one of the straps meaning it rattles about a bit. A minor point on what so far has been a great bit of kit.”

“Tough, durable, it washed well (hush, l know it's wipe clean!) and very glad l was told about this brand. You can get harnesses much cheaper, but DON'T! These are fantastic.”

“Love this escape proof harness which means I can be much more relaxed walking our rescue dog who wants to run away from anything scary. Do you have any plans to make a fluorescent version as our dog really prefers being walked at night and it would make her much easier to see?”
