“Not tried these yet, just bought the tanks @ £4.00 each. At 5 replacement coils @ £9.00, it's going to beat throwing the tanks away when they get tired !”
“Well I am only reasonably content with these coils. I am finding, like many others on other sites, that I do get periods of annoying gurgling and bubbling which I do not get with the bdc. My only previous experience of gurgling happens if the silver coloured "collar" at the bottom end of the tank slips somehow and requires pushing back up to its proper location. I find that the bvc can give the same result but that the "collar" has not slipped so i cannot rectify the problem as i can with the bdc. Maybe someone could tell us if they experience the same problem and offer a solution? Yes a good vape and you can adjust the V&W to higher levels than the bdc. The result is a satisfactory but I cannot honestly say it is better than the(in my experience) the bdc.”
“I haven't actually tried these yet as I have only just put in a new BDC coil in, but I thought I would comment on how great the price is.. 5 atomisers for £9!! :o Really looking forward to testing this out and I will be sure to post feedback.”
“I should have mentioned in my previous review that with fixed voltage batteries, check what the voltage is & then select the best resistance coil from the suggestions I made for a VV battery.”
“Anything from Aspire is great quality & these new BVC coils are no exception. They give consistently good flavour & vapour production. Also, they last for ages...at least 2 weeks for me and, as an ex pipe smoker, I puff a lot! On all three counts, they appear a little better than the BDC version.
Some vapers will wonder which resistance to get. It doesn't matter with Variable Voltage or Variable Wattage batteries. With VW I recommend vaping at around 8 watts. With VV, I'd select 3.60 for the 1.6, 3.80 for the 1.8 & 4.3 for the 2.1.
One day, all batteries will be VW & vaping life will be good...and even more so if you use the great products, pricing & service from Mist!!”
“I've been using the BDC coils for around a year and have been happy with them, but thought I'd try these new BVC coils to compare them. The main difference I've noticed is that they have 4 holes on the side (the BDC coils have 2) so there's much more air flow than the BDC coils.
It's a bit strange at first but I've got used to it now. Only been using them for a short while, but I'd say they are probably better than the BDC coils, especially if you have a VV battery, as you can crank up the voltage more than for the BDC coils. Recommended.”
“Purchased these new BVC coils last week not in the same ball park as BDC coils they constantly gurgle make a loud crackling noise and cook the ejuice have Aspire VV batteries and have tried at various volts to no avail.
Would not purchase again sticking to the BDC in future waste of money avoid.”
