Marvin's Silver Rainbow Markers (12 Pack) Reviews

4.3 Rating 49 Reviews
These are the kind of pens you need to shake with the lid on to get them to work. They're very pretty. It's a silvery colour that comes off them. They bleed through normal paper but they're ideal for card. What I'm using them for is designing birthday cards for my children's school friends. They're ideal also for certain crafts.Reasonable price.

These markers are great for children or adults alike. They do have quite a strong smell though so I would think about where youre using them. They don't take long to start working, just a few pumps on a flat surface and youre away to go! The colour changes before your eyes from the colour of the pen to silver with an outline of colour. Very cool. They work great on watercolour card with no bleeding. 4/5

I have not been impressed with these pens. The pens came in a nice box that, when paired with a drawing pad, could make for a lovely gift. There are clear instructions on the back of the box, detailing how best to use the pens. They have a very strong scent to them which, when using for a long period of time, did start to trigger a headache. The scent was like oil-based paint.I find the pens are more silver than rainbow. They have a slight outer colour “ blue, pink etc. “ but are predominantly silver. They work better on black paper. The tips are quite large so no use for finer detailing, but you can write with them. The ink does bleed through “ it is the coloured ink, not the silver that you can see on the reverse of the paper. The ink dries relatively quickly but the silver smudges, so this can create quite a mess. These pens did not produce the effect I was hoping for. They are predominantly silver and the strong odour makes them incredibly off-putting. I certainly would not recommend for children.

These pens are gorgeous and are a lovely metallic colour outlined by another colour.I thought they might be a faff to start using but it was really straightforward following the instructions. They do bleed through paper so probably better for card or anything thicker.Create a lovely effect and would be ideal for any little one's colouring box!

I love these pens, the silver really pops on darker paper.Theyre good for decorating stones and smooth wood but not for colouring books as the ink soaks through thinner paper.I'd definitely recommend getting some black card to use these on as they look really good and you can really see colours.Hope you found my review helpful
