Fermented 14 days in primary , stabilised & fined for five days. Bottled on day 19 . Was surprised at what a palatable wine it was ! Comparable to any supermarket wine . Would recommend .

Made a great white!

It doesn\'t even need 4 weeks after bottling. It\'s good to go from day one and having shared it with many neighbours, they all agree. Really pleased with this Italian style offering. Pity it\'s out of stock just now but I\'ll be on to it like a bat outta hell when it\'s back!

Comprehensive kit. No problems starting fermentation and can’t wait to taste it.

Easy to ferment and easy to clear. I was pleasantly surprised. I have tucked 8 bottles away to see how much further it improves over time. But after 6 weeks it was already just as good as the white wines I buy from the shop. It is not as zesty as the New Zealand ones - but I like ia more subtle light white - and in any case, it says it is not a New Zealand type. So it is everything I hoped it would be.

This was my starter kit and I was nervous about the process but it was very very easy (and Richard is very quick to answer silly rookie questions when you doubt yourself - thanks Richard). The process really is so simple and if you manage to leave the wine to mature for the minimum recommended time of 4 weeks after bottling it tastes very good too. We tasted when we bottled and the flavours were on the thin side, after 1 week again on the thin side but much improved, after 2 weeks much improved again but slightly acidic and by week 4 really quite good and we can't find fault with it. I'm trying various kits at the moment to build a collection but I will definitely be ordering this kit again - next time I'll try to mature it properly before drinking it. A good light, easy drinking, uncomplicated white wine, perfect for summer evenings on the patio with or without a bbq. Really like it.
