This is my wife's favourite white wine and prefers it over many of the much more expensive wines,

This is really easy to make and produces a quality wine which matches shop bought bottles. Very impressed indeed. It perfectly fine to drink at bottling but continues to improve week on week. I'm not sure it will last long enough to comment on improvement month on month though!

I am completely new to wine-making and chose this Beaverdale kit as my first brewing-venture. I do like good wines, and quality sauvignons in particular, so when I embarked upon this little brew-venture, to be honest I wasn't really expecting too much. After a little filtering disaster, I finally allowed my wine to clear properly in a clear carboy, filtered through coarse then fine pads, and today bottled my pride and joy. The bottles look spectacular, and the half-bottle left of course went into the fridge to chill. I am now enjoying that half bottle and all I can say is WOW! The wine was really simple to brew, and once cleared and now bottled tastes like a good quality bottle from Laithwaites. It is beautifully dry, crisp, clean and everything you would expect from a nice sauvignon. I will store some bottles away to mature, but all I can say is that I have ordered another 2 wine kits today...I am converted!!

I don't drink this wine but my wife does, and she's the expert, she tells me this is as good as any Supermarket wine up to around £6 a bottle, as this works out to about £1.48 a bottle, really worth the effort, I let it ferment out completely before de gassing and leaving for a week to clear, and after a week it's very clear. Well worth the money.
