“The wine matches the advertising and is my second lot. Both were consistent and well received by all that tried the wine. It is most definitely fruit forward on the pallet with a good nose which surprised me for a wine kit product. Cherry flavours are most evident as is typical of this grape.The flavours identify well with the Italian Tuscany type red wines and this grape type goes into Chianti and Montepulciano for example. The fruitiness can give the impression of a little sweetness but the wine fermented completely to provide a dry red with good body.It can be drunk early due to the soft texture. Sangiovese or translated “Jupiter’s blood” is a great find in my view and does not disappoint.”
