I used this kit this for the first time recently and I am really impressed with the results. The wine is still young at only 3 weeks from starting, but what I have tried so far is really good. I expect it will only improve with more age.

This is yet another stunning red wine kit. well rounded and very very smooth if you leave it alone for 6+ weeks and it is comparable to what they now charge £8.00 plus in the supermarket. Well done Rich and the team on developing some superb wine kits.

This was my first attempt at a wine. I was worried that the strength might be a bit low at just under 12%, but the wine is superb. Clear & fruity - a bit of melon & rhubarb to me, but maybe not. I have found that allowing the wine to breath for a few hours before drinking alters the taste from being fresh to being more rounded. Have nearly finished the batch and looking forward to comparing to the Shiraz that is nearly ready for drinking.

Made two batches of the Merlot, both very acceptable, but need something with a little more body so moving up to the vintners range and if that's not quite right then onto the wine expert range with added grape skins which Richard assures me will give more body...

very nice, friends loved it when we took some bottles to a bbq. The longer you leave it, the better its tasting.

Made up a kit in May and put it in a polypin. It semed to be improving. On 20th June I was invited to a party, at the end there was half a bottle of Syrah lett and I took it home. Pays D'Oc, a Chateau wine. Last night I poured two fingers, one from the Syrah and one from the polypin, as in, my brew. (The two fingers are horizontal, just enough to swirl and nose and taste.) I expected a big difference in appearance, viscosity, nose, and taste. Completely indistinguishable. That is it. This is superb, and I shall, in time, graduate to the Barolla.

Disappointed when first finished brewing. Three months late it is the most fantastic wine we have ever tasted. And we have lots of it. Get this one but wait three months for the surprise of your winemaking life.
