The traditional grape used in producing the great Spanish Riojas.

Gorgeous ruby red in colour, this medium-bodied wine is Spain's answer to Cabernet Sauvignon, with berry, plum and herbal notes running to a lush finish of tobacco, leather and vanilla. Serve with roast pork, sheep's milk cheeses, roasted vegetables or lamb.

30 Bottle Kit.

10 litres of grape juice - yields 23 litres of wine.

Ready to bottle in 4 weeks.

“Very simple and tasty as wine, if you have the opportunity to store it into a barrel you actually will realize the amazing taste that this grapes can show you...with the colour, smell and such a taste. Only to remember that need to increase alcohol % for barrel or will loose his character and take too much smoothness”

“I like red wines but have been disappointed by a lot of the kits. There always seems to be an unpleasant taint to them... at least the ones I have tried. White wines have always come out better for me. So, I thought as I like Spanish type wines I would try this kit. It is a little more fiddly than my usual kits but not difficult. When done I was a bit worried at first as it tasted odd however letting it breath and also mature have both helped. Now I like it a lot and will be buying another kit soon.”
